Joba Chamberlain, the New York Yankees starting pitcher and the city’s sweetheart was arrested for drunk driving in his home state Nebraska last Friday. The 23 year old started his wild night at a local strip club where he got into a fight with over a Red Sox argument.
He was watching a stripper doing her thing when some one shouted “if you played for the Red Sox, you wouldn’t be sitting here.” That comment got the best of young Joba which sparked an altercation. Then after a couple of more drinks, Joba and his entourage finally left the strip club. Then they were pulled over by the cops around one o’clock in the morning. Joba’s blood alcohol level was 1 and half times more than the state’s limit. Joba is due in court on December 17th. Yet another slacking Yankees pitcher. Get ready for the storm after the departure of Steinbrenner senior.
